After taking down the ball on Gira EC's corner Alberto Rosado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dé Pereira quite easily take care of the ball. Rafa Abraão struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Charles Trancoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carajari. 36 minutes into the match, Gira EC's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Torres came free, but Charles Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Carajari booed when Gira EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wágner Torres in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Trancoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute, Henrique Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gira EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The Carajari players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
