In the 24th minute, Jacinto Brodel made a precise shot to the right of Luís Fabiano de Carvalho. YouTube Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 31st minute, Elano Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Talismã FC's Elano Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Alves in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Igor Fantini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talismã FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave YouTube Futebol Clube the free kick. In the 35th minute, Igor Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Umberto Tande during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Umberto Tande hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st match minute, Talismã FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto Tande to maneuver through the defense. When Jacinto Brodel came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Talismã FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Brodel couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Jacinto Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talismã FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Brodel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fabiano de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Talismã FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Guilherme Mazza was the one to do the kick off. YouTube Futebol Clube's Luís Fabiano de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save YouTube Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Luís Fabiano de Carvalho made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Jacinto Brodel sent off a good shot on target. Rubinho Alves hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Jacinto Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano de Carvalho having to interfere. Elano Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Talismã FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Umberto Tande hit a great ball. YouTube Futebol Clube's Luiz Guilherme Mazza got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ian Porto might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Fabiano de Carvalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ian Porto ran back to his position shaking his head. Luiz Guilherme Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 76th minute of the match Umberto Tande completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Umberto Tande a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Talismã FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Umberto Tande hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Jacinto Brodel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Talismã FC's Elano Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Mazza in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Talismã FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Fantini. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Talismã FC's goalkeeper Elano Pimenta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elano Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Mazza in the 95th minute of play. The YouTube Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Talismã FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
