Simão Valle hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Guilherme Recife in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orlando Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orlando Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Recife in the 19th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erivaldo Tavares during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT's Erivaldo Tavares got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT's zone, Kauã Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Valadares came out of the goal and Kauã Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 played minutes AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT got a freekick which was hit by Silas Alves. Luiz Guilherme Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Orlando Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jano Coelho during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jano Coelho hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The supporters of Arata booed when AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kauã Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Linhares in the 44th minute of play forced AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT's goalkeeper Basílio Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Erivaldo Tavares got free in front of the goal in the 47th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Orlando Fonseca was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.

Kauã Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Basílio Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arata. In the 60th minute, Kauã Soeiro made a precise shot to the right of Basílio Valadares. AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 64 minutes into the match, AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Linhares came free, but Basílio Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
