Claudinei Tavares started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Nico Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo José Paulista, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Claudinei Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Brasília United MZ Team booed when Pussy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Enéas Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Conrado Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinei Tavares was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Brasília United MZ Team's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Brasília United MZ Team's Conrado Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo do Vale in the 15th minute of play. When Valdomiro Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Brasília United MZ Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdomiro Marquez couldn't finish the play. If Arnaldo do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Conrado Fontes came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pussy's Enéas Viana. But to his dismay, Enéas Viana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 26th match minute, Brasília United MZ Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Tasso to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdomiro Marquez got free with Adriano Mineiro in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valdomiro Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A well placed Claudinei Tavares short distance shot in the 35th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Conrado Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enéas Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute Arnaldo do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdomiro Marquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Adriano Mineiro made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enéas Viana made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Cleiton Matorin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pussy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brasília United MZ Team the free kick. Cleiton Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute Enéas Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Pussy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. Enéas Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Fontes having to interfere. Pussy's Arnaldo do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cleiton Matorin was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 76 played minutes Pussy got a freekick which was hit by Cleiton Matorin. In the 81st minute, Nico Leão sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pussy's Adriano Mineiro didn't even have to move. The supporters of Brasília United MZ Team booed when Pussy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudinei Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Adriano Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
