Basílio de Barros made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Wágner Fontes sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Flamengo's Basílio de Barros got control of the ball when Gualter Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Basílio de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 周奕树 in the 10th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Silva. In the 19th minute, Bernardinho Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basílio de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 周奕树 in the 21st minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Luís Fernando Medeiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basílio de Barros was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After 85 minutes of play, Flamengo's Lúcio Ribeiro made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeo Fernendo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the match, Wágner Fontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basílio de Barros. Flamengo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wágner Fontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Seriema AD had played much better football throughout.
