After 24 minutes, João Vítor Furlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galo 1908 and the Maevo eFootball Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Galo 1908 got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Furlan. With his leg Cléberson Andrade managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Maevo eFootball Club's Samuel Baiano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcinho Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Andrade having to interfere. If Clemente Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Galo 1908's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Baiano came free, but Cléberson Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marcinho Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Clemente Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maevo eFootball Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Samuel Baiano, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 39 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cléberson Andrade was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cléberson Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Baiano in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Zé Pedro Teles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson Vides. Maevo eFootball Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Pedro Teles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cléberson Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Corrêa in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes, Samuel Baiano made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Galo 1908's Cléberson Andrade tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Marcinho Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. Clemente Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jonathan Hoffmann fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galo 1908's protests and gave Jonathan Hoffmann a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes Galo 1908 got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Hoffmann. The audience was convinced that Samuel Baiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cléberson Andrade was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
