A collision led to palmeirasb getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Carlinhos Nóbrega hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, palmeirasb's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Almeida came free, but Ulysses Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cafu Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulysses Furtado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cafu Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. Cafu Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Furtado having to interfere. When Marcinho Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Maevo eFootball Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcinho Corrêa couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Marcinho Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maevo eFootball Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcinho Corrêa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulysses Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulysses Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Almeida in the 29th minute of play. Ulysses Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcinho Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Vítor Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulysses Furtado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Baiano went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Thiago Pitta hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Cafu Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Furtado having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Samuel Baiano made the kick off in the second half. Ulysses Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Corrêa in the 52nd minute of the match. Ulysses Furtado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. palmeirasb's Ulysses Furtado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save palmeirasb from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Baiano in the 73rd minute of play forced palmeirasb's goalkeeper Ulysses Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jefferson Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Silva in the 75th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Samuel Baiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulysses Furtado was relentless in the 76th minute of the game.
