Basílio de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Baiano in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Meireles in the 21st minute of play forced Flamengo's goalkeeper Basílio de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Bernardinho Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jefferson Vides was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 30 minutes into the game, Clemente Perez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Basílio de Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Marcinho Corrêa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute Samuel Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flamengo's Víktor Vinhas got his second yellow card of the match in the 42nd minute. The referee ordered Víktor Vinhas off the ground. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Vítor Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maevo eFootball Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Meireles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But to his dismay, Samuel Baiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When Marcinho Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Maevo eFootball Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcinho Corrêa couldn't finish the play. Maevo eFootball Club's Clemente Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Maevo eFootball Club booed when Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basílio de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Corrêa in the 66th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Marcinho Corrêa put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Basílio de Barros. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lúcio Ribeiro during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clemente Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Basílio de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Samuel Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcinho Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Samuel Baiano sped through Flamengo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Basílio de Barros. Maevo eFootball Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
