Pedrão Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Munhoz having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Luan Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galácticos F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luan Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cacá Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 played minutes Deportivo Palhoça got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Fonda. Pedrão Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cacá Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Garcia in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Deportivo Palhoça got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Lima. After having played for 22 minutes, Osvaldinho Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Palhoça's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldinho Madureira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Deportivo Palhoça booed when Galácticos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luan Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wesley Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Luan Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Munhoz having to interfere. Osvaldinho Madureira took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wesley Albuquerque. Wesley Albuquerque dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Osvaldinho Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute of the match Samuca Paraense sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wesley Albuquerque skillfully saved the ball. Osvaldinho Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Albuquerque having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedrão Garcia was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Galácticos F.C's zone, Cosme Fonda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Albuquerque came out of the goal and Cosme Fonda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Deportivo Palhoça's Osvaldinho Madureira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wesley Albuquerque narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes into the game, Cosme Fonda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wesley Albuquerque. Cosme Fonda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Palhoça's Cosme Fonda got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute Pedrão Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luan Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st match minute, Galácticos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Sena to maneuver through the defense. Luan Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cacá Munhoz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luan Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the match, Pedrão Garcia notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Deportivo Palhoça's Cacá Munhoz. Cacá Munhoz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Galácticos F.C's Natã Sena got a free kick in the 86th minute. The nice shot from Osvaldinho Madureira in the 87thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Wesley Albuquerque had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Cosme Fonda struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Wesley Albuquerque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Palhoça. Osvaldinho Madureira in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wesley Albuquerque, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Enrique Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Wesley Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Galácticos F.C's goalkeeper Wesley Albuquerque, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 94 minutes, Cosme Fonda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Palhoça's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosme Fonda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 97 minutes, Arí Guimarães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galácticos F.C and the Deportivo Palhoça players grew even worse after the yellow card.
