But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrézinho Tróia couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Master Team AD's Andrézinho Tróia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ediberto Salles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute Bruno de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jardel Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Percival Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Luz in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Master Team AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Percival Paulista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno de Salles went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Andrézinho Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Silvinho Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zé Carlos Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ediberto Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrézinho Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto Salles having to interfere. Andrézinho Tróia struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ediberto Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Master Team AD. If Bruno de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Master Team AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S. E. Roca were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrézinho Tróia to strike the kick off in the second half. Betinho Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvinho Terra during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Tróia in the 67th minute of play forced S. E. Roca's goalkeeper Ediberto Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Andrézinho Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Master Team AD fans jumped to their feet.
