After 9 minutes of play, Galácticos F.C's Luan Rodrigues made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Chaime was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luan Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Chaime having to interfere. Monte Cristo FC's Aurelio Chaime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Garcia in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Natã Sena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Chaime was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Humberto Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Valladares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wesley Albuquerque having to make a save. Aurelio Chaime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Garcia in the 52nd minute of the match. Monte Cristo FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Galácticos F.C had won, even though Monte Cristo FC had held more of the ball.
