Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabiano Cardoso started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cheetara FC's Didi de Godoi got a free kick in the 5th minute. Fabiano Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Vaz having to interfere. In the 17th minute, João Vítor Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 22 minutes, João Pedro Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tertuliano's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Pedro Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabiano Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Vaz having to interfere. Fabiano Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cheetara FC's zone, João Pedro Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermínio Vaz came out of the goal and João Pedro Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tertuliano's Fabiano Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabiano Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermínio Vaz was a little too slow when Fabiano Cardoso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-0. 41 minutes into the match, Fabiano Cardoso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hermínio Vaz, 3-0. A collision led to Tertuliano getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Christiano Damião hit a great ball. Valério Gaúcho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivo Ferraz. Tertuliano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 47th minute, Horácio Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cheetara FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horácio Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Douglas Aparecido during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Douglas Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute Fabiano Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermínio Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tião Chaves charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tião Chaves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th match minute, Cheetara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Chaves to maneuver through the defense. Tertuliano's Fabiano Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Tertuliano's Fabiano Cardoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermínio Vaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 66thth minute of the game Fabiano Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheetara FC's Hermínio Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Christiano Damião got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Tertuliano's goalkeeper Ivo Ferraz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edinho de Moraes. Tertuliano's Ivo Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi de Godoi in the 71st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabiano Cardoso in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermínio Vaz saved Cheetara FC from getting behind. Christiano Damião took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermínio Vaz. Hermínio Vaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 81st minute Fabiano Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermínio Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fabiano Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tertuliano's Fabiano Cardoso in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cheetara FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ivo Ferraz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Didi de Godoi in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Cheetara FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Pedro Medeiros came free, but Hermínio Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tertuliano had played much better football throughout.
