Brenonalive FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cléber Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Couto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dráuzio de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvaldo Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Cléber Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brenonalive FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cléber Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Pedro da Silveira took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráuzio de Mendonça. Dráuzio de Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 31st minute Zé Pedro da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Brenonalive FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pedro da Silveira came free, but Dráuzio de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Pedro da Silveira in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráuzio de Mendonça saved Brenonalive FC from getting behind. Cléber Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusébio Couto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cléber Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cléber Mendonça got free with Eusébio Couto in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edvaldo Domingues made a kick off. Bebeto Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. HeaD HunTerZ ™'s Eusébio Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Mendonça in the 58th minute of play. Zé Pedro da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dráuzio de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Domingues in the 68th minute of the match. A long shot from Antônio Carlos Paraíba in the 71st minute of play was well struck, but Dráuzio de Mendonça made a really good save at the right post. In the 76th minute, Cléber Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Soares in the 84th minute of play forced HeaD HunTerZ ™'s goalkeeper Eusébio Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Bebeto Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brenonalive FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bebeto Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusébio Couto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brenonalive FC.
