An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Camargo in the 12th minute of play forced SC Pedroso's goalkeeper Emerson Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caco Camargos short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Emerson Rodrigues to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Guga Brodel could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Emerson Rodrigues however easily saved by the left post. SC Pedroso's Ezequiel de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guga Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Emerson Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erivaldo Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jairo Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44thth minute of the game Caco Camargo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Pedroso's Emerson Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Espinheiro SC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Mateus Pinho hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caco Camargo to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Caco Camargo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emerson Rodrigues. SC Pedroso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caco Camargo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Emerson Rodrigues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guga Brodel went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Caco Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espinheiro SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Caco Camargo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emerson Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 69 minutes, Caco Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinheiro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caco Camargo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Guga Brodel came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Espinheiro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guga Brodel couldn't finish the play. Caco Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Rodrigues having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Espinheiro SC's Clemente Furtado got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Espinheiro SC defense, Ezequiel de Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Sabóia. The Espinheiro SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Sabóia should have stopped the shot. Guga Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Rodrigues having to interfere. After some careless play in the Espinheiro SC defense, Erivaldo Novaes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Sabóia. The Espinheiro SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Sabóia should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Espinheiro SC were the better team. Espinheiro SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
