Spectators: 7195 (Terracing: 5398, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bebeto Soares kicked off to start the match. Guga Brodel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Dráuzio de Mendonça made a huge save. Brenonalive FC's Dráuzio de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Camargo in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Espinheiro SC's Guga Brodel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dráuzio de Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Espinheiro SC booed when Brenonalive FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jairo Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Dráuzio de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Camargo in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Cléber Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jairo Sabóia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Brenonalive FC defense, Caco Camargo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dráuzio de Mendonça. The Brenonalive FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dráuzio de Mendonça should have stopped the shot. Guga Brodel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dráuzio de Mendonça firmly grabbed it by the left post. Guga Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dráuzio de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espinheiro SC's Mateus Pinho pulled a muscle in his leg after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Régis Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Brenonalive FC's goalkeeper Dráuzio de Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guga Brodel.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guga Brodel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dráuzio de Mendonça came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Espinheiro SC's Caco Camargo. But to his dismay, Caco Camargo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Clemente Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dráuzio de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Brenonalive FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Brodel came free, but Dráuzio de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Guga Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute Clemente Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cléber Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the game, Clemente Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Dráuzio de Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Guga Brodel sped through Brenonalive FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dráuzio de Mendonça. Jairo Sabóia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bebeto Soares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 82 minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Clemente Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinheiro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Furtado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guga Brodel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Brenonalive FC's Valdemar Melo got a free kick in the 90th minute. Dráuzio de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Sabóia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cléber Mendonça in the 94th minute.
