Emerson Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hílton Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Guilherme Vale hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Dinei Barreto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SC Pedroso's Emerson Rodrigues. Erivaldo Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Meira having to interfere. Dinei Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Emerson Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
