Cléber Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Rodrigues having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Brenonalive FC's Bebeto Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emerson Rodrigues narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bebeto Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emerson Rodrigues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cléber Mendonça went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute Ramón Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Duarte hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Pedroso's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elano Novaes was slow to take the kick. During this time Brenonalive FC's players had a chance to rest.
