In the 20th match minute, Smallville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Recife to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Róbson Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fluviopolis's supporters rose to their feet, but Róbson Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Jacobsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fluviopolis's Túlio Pena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Fluviopolis from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the game, Gatot Fernandez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Túlio Pena. Gatot Fernandez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Hortêncio Baiano's late challenge caught a Smallville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hortêncio Baiano helped the player get up and apologised. Hortêncio Baiano hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Breno Secco came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Smallville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breno Secco couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Fernandão Munhoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Jacobsson. Smallville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernandão Munhoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

51 minutes into the match, Gatot Fernandez notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Fluviopolis's Túlio Pena. Túlio Pena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the match, Fluviopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Secco came free, but Túlio Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gatot Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Túlio Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Bruno Travassos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fluviopolis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smallville the free kick. A collision led to Fluviopolis getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Bruno Travassos hit a great ball. In the 69th minute of the match Gil Cardoso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Túlio Pena skillfully saved the ball. If Breno Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hortêncio Baiano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. 75 minutes into the match, Fluviopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Gatot Fernandez came free, but Túlio Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Túlio Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gatot Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Gatot Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
