Remo Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kiko de Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard de Sena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Gláuber Matorin was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Richard de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remo Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 96thth minute of the game Remo Paraibano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poli FC's Richard de Sena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Paulino were the better team. Paulino's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
