Eurico Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gatot Fernandez in the 38th minute of play. Daniel Jacobsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Paulinho Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Breno Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gatot Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Breno Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smallville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Luís Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Smallville's Fiori Recife got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Ezequiel Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Tocantinense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Guerra to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Gil Cardoso in the 73rd minute of play was well struck, but Eurico Toscano made a really good save at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gatot Fernandez in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eurico Toscano saved Tocantinense F.C. from getting behind. Breno Secco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Eurico Toscano made a huge save. Gatot Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Eurico Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Salgado's late challenge caught a Smallville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Luciano Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breno Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Jacobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Tocantinense F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Smallville's performance. The match ended with a win for Smallville.
