Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Itamaraju's Niklas Österlund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, Mercedes RLL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Maciel to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Itamaraju's corner Dorival Neves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Júnior Meireles quite easily take care of the ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Niklas Österlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mercedes RLL's Júnior Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute, Rony de Senna fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Mercedes RLL's Júnior Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Österlund in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Rony de Senna made a precise shot to the right of Júnior Meireles. Mercedes RLL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Itamaraju's Niklas Österlund got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Murilo Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo França having to interfere. When Murilo Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Mercedes RLL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murilo Almeida couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Mercedes RLL's Tadeu Moura got a free kick in the 35th minute. Itamaraju's Rony de Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niklas Österlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Augusto da Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Mercedes RLL getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Pedro Augusto da Rocha hit a great ball. Murilo Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Naldo França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mercedes RLL's Júnior Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Österlund in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Rony de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niklas Österlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 played minutes Mercedes RLL got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Moura. When Niklas Österlund came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Itamaraju fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niklas Österlund couldn't finish the play. Júnior Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony de Senna in the 75th minute of play. Niklas Österlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Österlund in the 78th minute of play forced Mercedes RLL's goalkeeper Júnior Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rony de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niklas Österlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júnior Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niklas Österlund ran back to his position shaking his head. Rony de Senna struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Júnior Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itamaraju. Niklas Österlund struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Itamaraju's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
