Igor Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Nunes having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Wiliam Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Dedê Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celsinho Nunes came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Warriors's Dedê Koehler. But to his dismay, Dedê Koehler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Manfredo Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VISÃO F.C's Celsinho Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê Koehler in the 22nd minute of play. Golden Warriors's José Pontes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Celsinho Nunes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Rafinha Ferraz put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Golden Warriors:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of VISÃO F.C:s goal. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, VISÃO F.C's Donato Guedes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Celso Guedes. Wiliam Donato hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes, Golden Warriors's José Pontes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Celsinho Nunes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Golden Warriors reached it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Vianna made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Golden Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Torres came free, but Celso Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Torres in the 53rd minute of play. Alfredinho Pirani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celso Guedes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, VISÃO F.C's Manfredo Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Guedes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Igor Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Igor Vianna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Carlinhos Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Warriors's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlinhos Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celsinho Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igor Vianna struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Celsinho Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Warriors. Tony Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the game, Dedê Koehler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golden Warriors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VISÃO F.C the free kick. The supporters of VISÃO F.C booed when Golden Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Manfredo Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Guedes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. If Vitinho Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celso Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitinho Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Manfredo Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Guedes having to interfere. Celsinho Nunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Vianna in the 94th minute. Many of Golden Warriors's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Golden Warriors may have spent more time on the ball, but VISÃO F.C were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
