The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Barradas Club's Geovani Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Corrêa in the 5th minute of play. Geovani Catarinense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luminosa. The Luminosa fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Luminosa's Guido Enol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Geovani Catarinense had great luck who in the 14thth minute grab hold of the ball when Guido Enol from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 15 minutes into the game, Jonathan Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Geovani Catarinense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute, Jonathan Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luminosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Jonathan Azevedo took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Geovani Catarinense to make any attempt to save it. When %teams%'s Guido Enol was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 5-0 just inside the left pole, 39 minutes into the game. Geovani Catarinense was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Geovani Catarinense had great luck who in the 44thth minute grab hold of the ball when Guido Enol from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Geovani Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Enol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Catarinense having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tarcisio Nascimento to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Luminosa's Alberto Moraes got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute Guido Enol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovani Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Corrêa in the 57th minute of play. But to his dismay, Jonathan Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 70 minutes into the game, Guido Enol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Geovani Catarinense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geovani Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Enol, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Guido Enol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barradas Club's Geovani Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geovani Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Fausto Pereira replaced Fausto Albuquerque. Guido Enol charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guido Enol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Luminosa fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Luminosa's Guido Enol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Luminosa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
