But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Gustavo Baptista couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Luís Gustavo Baptista reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luan Paranaense. The goal made the score 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Juiracu FC's Vito Abreu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luan Paranaense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Club Sportivo Sergipe got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Matos. Gilson Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerson Xavier having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Flavinho Varela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juiracu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Sportivo Sergipe the free kick. Flavinho Varela hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Frédson de Queiroz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Juiracu FC's Gerson Xavier didn't even have to move. Luís Gustavo Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luan Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Ismael Teles struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Luan Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juiracu FC. Luan Paranaense stood somewhat misplaced when Ismael Teles came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 48 minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After 53 played minutes Club Sportivo Sergipe got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Carneiro. In the 54th match minute, Club Sportivo Sergipe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. 3-0 came in the 56th minute when Pedro Luiz Medeiros all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Luan Paranaense. After 60 minutes of play, Club Sportivo Sergipe's Gilson Nogueira made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerson Xavier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luan Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Teles in the 64th minute of the match. Luís Gustavo Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan Paranaense having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Ismael Teles made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Club Sportivo Sergipe's Luan Paranaense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute Ismael Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luís Gustavo Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandrinho Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Luan Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Teles in the 90th minute of the match. Dedê Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 98 minutes, Ismael Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juiracu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Teles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Juiracu FC fully deserved thier win.
