In the 6th minute, Carlos Eduardo Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Adolfo Edmondson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 played minutes Nandox FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Macedo. 20 minutes into the match, Nandox FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro Ortiz came free, but Diego Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gandalf Fehér showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Perez in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 27th minute Delfim Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gandalf Fehér saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Magalhães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Edmondson went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Damião got free with Gandalf Fehér in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Delfim Perez's late challenge caught a PALESTRA ITÁLIA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delfim Perez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of PALESTRA ITÁLIA booed when Nandox FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Inacio Faxardo in the 54th minute really tested Diego Magalhães's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Adolfo Edmondson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PALESTRA ITÁLIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Edmondson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egídio Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Gandalf Fehér showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Perez in the 61st minute of the match. Nandox FC's Diego Magalhães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Nandox FC from getting a goal against them. After 70 minutes, Delfim Perez made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. PALESTRA ITÁLIA's Gandalf Fehér tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Amaral in the 75th minute of play forced Nandox FC's goalkeeper Diego Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Egídio Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. PALESTRA ITÁLIA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
