Fanáticos's André Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Dedê Furtado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Sportivo Sergipe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fanáticos's Benê Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that André Branco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luan Paranaense was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Club Sportivo Sergipe's Luan Paranaense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportivo Sergipe from getting a goal against them. Fanáticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benê Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When André Branco came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Fanáticos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Branco couldn't finish the play. Fanáticos's Tales Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilson Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Luisinho Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Benê Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sandrinho Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Branco in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luan Paranaense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luisinho Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilson Nogueira in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Fanáticos's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Matos came free, but Luisinho Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Club Sportivo Sergipe getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Frédson de Queiroz hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 68thth minute of the game André Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Sportivo Sergipe's Luan Paranaense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luan Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Branco in the 71st minute of play. The attack was good, but when André Branco in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Sandrinho Matos came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Club Sportivo Sergipe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandrinho Matos couldn't finish the play. Fanáticos's Luisinho Cavalcante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Fanáticos from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Gilson Nogueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luisinho Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.
