Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Juvenal Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Teles in the 3rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Chicão Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Danúbio's supporters rose to their feet, but Chicão Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerson Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 12 minutes, Vítor Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danúbio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Gerson Xavier managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Danúbio's Vítor Nóbrega fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Juiracu FC's Ismael Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inácio Miranda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juvenal Linares. Danúbio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Juiracu FC's Flavinho Varela got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ismael Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Teles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juvenal Linares having to make a save. Ismael Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Linares having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 50th minute, Ismael Teles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juvenal Linares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chicão Simão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vítor Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerson Xavier having to interfere. Ismael Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Linares having to interfere. If Ismael Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danúbio's Júnior Loyola suffered a concussion after 88 minutes and had to leave the field. After 88 minutes, Flavinho Varela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juiracu FC and the Danúbio players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd play minute Ismael Teles came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Juvenal Linares. 1-3. Gerson Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Nóbrega in the 95th minute of play. Juvenal Linares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Gustavo Baptista's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. Danúbio's Juvenal Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Baptista in the 101st minute of play.
