Delfim Perez started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Chicão Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danúbio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chicão Simão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 4 minutes into the game, Ricardo Macedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nandox FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Danúbio the free kick. In the 14th minute Chicão Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18thth minute of the game Chicão Simão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nandox FC's Diego Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diego Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Nóbrega in the 19th minute of the match. Danúbio's Juvenal Linares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Danúbio from getting a goal against them. Juvenal Linares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chicão Simão made a kick off. Vítor Nóbrega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Diego Magalhães made a huge save. Orlando Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Linares having to interfere. Juvenal Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Perez in the 85th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Danúbio got a freekick which was hit by Benê Queirós. Orlando Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Danúbio players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nandox FC.
