The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélio da Cunha got free with Dariusz Lichucki in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the game, Maicon Brodel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Força Alagoana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patitucci FC the free kick. A collision led to Força Alagoana getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Maicon Brodel hit a great ball. Dariusz Lichucki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hélio da Cunha in the 11th minute. Força Alagoana's De-Jesús Lewandowski got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Durvalino Secco scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dariusz Lichucki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Reis in the 23rd minute of play forced Força Alagoana's goalkeeper Dariusz Lichucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Dariusz Lichucki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dariusz Lichucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Senna in the 26th minute of play. Dráuzio Massa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of De-Jesús Lewandowski's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélio da Cunha got free with Dariusz Lichucki in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Dariusz Lichucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De-Jesús Lewandowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dariusz Lichucki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 61 minutes into the match, Força Alagoana's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino Secco came free, but Dariusz Lichucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Força Alagoana's Dariusz Lichucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durvalino Secco in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Patitucci FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Carlos Varela hit a great ball. De-Jesús Lewandowski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Dráuzio Massa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 74th minute, Força Alagoana's De-Jesús Lewandowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dráuzio Massa. Dráuzio Massa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. De-Jesús Lewandowski struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Dráuzio Massa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Força Alagoana. Dariusz Lichucki came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Patitucci FC's Hélio da Cunha. But to his dismay, Hélio da Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Dariusz Lichucki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
