Fernandão Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmílson Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Goiano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Nóbrega in the 22nd minute of play forced Cervejeiro Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Fernandão Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murillo Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Edmílson Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernandão Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Gilmar Mattos fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parmera's protests and gave Gilmar Mattos a yellow card for diving instead. Gilmar Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Gilmar Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enéas Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dito Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Gilmar Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Goiano having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Parmera's Gilmar Mattos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernandão Goiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 64th minute, Gilmar Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmílson Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Goiano having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Cervejeiro Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Aílton Faria. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Doriva Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parmera's supporters rose to their feet, but Doriva Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandão Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Gilmar Mattos could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Fernandão Goiano however easily saved by the left post. If Gilmar Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
