In the 10th minute, Frederico Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Frederico Messias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Hoffmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 24 minutes of play, Medieval Football Club's Leonardo Pena made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Hoffmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Téo Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, one of Medieval Football Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Téo Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Mendes having to interfere. After the first half Medieval Football Club were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Pena to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Desportiva Guarabira's Raphael Meireles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vitinho Mendes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Waldir Moreira hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to Medieval Football Club getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Waldir Moreira hit a great ball. Marcos Hoffmann acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Geraldo da Silveira. In the 67th match minute, Medieval Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Téo Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Mendes having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Raphael Meireles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitinho Mendes. Medieval Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raphael Meireles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Vitinho Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Mineiro in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 played minutes Desportiva Guarabira got a freekick which was hit by Téo Mineiro. 97 minutes into the game, Medieval Football Club's Frederico Messias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Hoffmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3.
