Válter Marinho's late challenge caught a Canela de Vidro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Válter Marinho helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to soldadinho F.C getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Válter Marinho hit a great ball. If Luís Eduardo Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilmar Pires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fiori Berger's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After 21 played minutes soldadinho F.C got a freekick which was hit by Válter Marinho. Frédson Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Paes in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, soldadinho F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. Frédson Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Paes in the 26th minute of play. Canela de Vidro's Luís Eduardo Paes got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Canela de Vidro's Gilmar Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Berger in the 31st minute of play. soldadinho F.C were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Canela de Vidro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ulisses Severo took the corner. 36 minutes into the match, Canela de Vidro's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Berger came free, but Gilmar Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Ulisses Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dudu Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Frédson Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Canela de Vidro's Dudu Carioca got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Luís Eduardo Paes made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Fiori Berger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilmar Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 59th minute of the match Norberto Coelho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilmar Pires showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. soldadinho F.C's Frédson Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Moraes in the 63rd minute of play. When Fiori Berger came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the soldadinho F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fiori Berger couldn't finish the play. Moisés Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Fausto Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilmar Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Berger in the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Fiori Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. soldadinho F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fiori Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canela de Vidro's goalkeeper Gilmar Pires, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Canela de Vidro getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Sandro Figueiredo hit a great ball. soldadinho F.C's Fiori Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Canela de Vidro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. soldadinho F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
