Armando Toscano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Agnaldo Paraíba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 4 played minutes Bar Sem Lona Society got a freekick which was hit by Patrick do Valle. Almir Couto scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Saldanha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Armando Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Armando Toscano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Agnaldo Paraíba. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Armando Toscano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agnaldo Paraíba was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Agnaldo Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Clemente Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva Veloso in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Couto in the 38th minute of play forced Campo Mourão Futebol Club's goalkeeper Clemente Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Campo Mourão Futebol Club's zone, Almir Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Saldanha came out of the goal and Almir Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Toscano in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agnaldo Paraíba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tostão Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Almir Couto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bar Sem Lona Society's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campo Mourão Futebol Club the free kick. The supporters of Campo Mourão Futebol Club booed when Bar Sem Lona Society was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Paraíba having to interfere. Sydney Amaral struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Agnaldo Paraíba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. During the 84th minute of the match Justo Bemabe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Justo Bemabe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Justo Bemabe kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. A long shot from Sandrinho Lara in the 87th minute of play was well struck, but Clemente Saldanha made a really good save at the right post. Almir Couto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Clemente Saldanha made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the Campo Mourão Futebol Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
