After 16 minutes, Giuseppe Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morore FC and the Hawks players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Morore FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Maia to maneuver through the defense. Marquinhos Gerber made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when João Pedro Pirani sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 23 minutes, Raphael de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael de Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Guilherme Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Henrique Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morore FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarbas Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rdth minute of the game Alfredão Penha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hawks's Jarbas Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Alfredão Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raphael de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredão Penha to make the kick off. The supporters of Morore FC booed when Hawks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Pedro Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Morore FC's Gildo Peixoto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The long shot by Geraldo Senna in the 61st minute really tested Jarbas Dias's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Luís Guilherme Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquinhos Gerber having to interfere. Henrique Pereira came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jarbas Dias could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique Pereira got free with Jarbas Dias in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Luís Guilherme Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan de Queirós during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hawks's Allan de Queirós got a free kick in the 77th minute. A collision led to Hawks getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jarbas Barral hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Morore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael de Sousa came free, but Marquinhos Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marquinhos Gerber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Guilherme Tande's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
