Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cássio Carneiro started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Chuvero F.C's Mazinho Quintal got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Tiago Gabriel Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the game, Diego Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chuvero F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romao the free kick. After 8 played minutes Chuvero F.C got a freekick which was hit by Diego Peixoto. After having played for 17 minutes, Tiago Gabriel Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Gabriel Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Tiago Gabriel Terra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chuvero F.C's Emanuel Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, Tiago Gabriel Terra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Romao's Tiago Gabriel Terra got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Cássio Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romao's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiago Gabriel Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Emanuel Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elano Motta to make the kick off. When Tiago Gabriel Terra came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Romao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Gabriel Terra couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Francisco de Toledo during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chuvero F.C booed when Romao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jano Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 76 minutes of play Romao's João Francisco de Toledo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Romao getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. João Francisco de Toledo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Motta in the 79th minute of play forced Romao's goalkeeper Jano Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltazar Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jano Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baltazar Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romao's Jano Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian de Barros in the 89th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Guilherme Paulista during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 minutes, Nicolas Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Romao and the Chuvero F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Romao getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Nicolas Romero hit a great ball.
