Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kiko Cunha took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Taireta booed when Pé de Rato F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gugu Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Luciano Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Rafa Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gugu Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafa Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Alcântara having to interfere. Kiko Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Luciano Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that João Albuquerque's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Alcântara was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Luciano Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Carioca in the 40th minute of play. Luciano Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Cunha in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Pé de Rato F.C getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Carlinhos Prata hit a great ball.

Gugu Salles's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luciano Campidelis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pé de Rato F.C's Augusto Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Albuquerque in the 62nd minute of play. During the 64th minute of the match Ediberto Varela completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ediberto Varela a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Pé de Rato F.C's Ediberto Varela got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute, João Albuquerque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Alcântara having to interfere. If João Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Carlinhos Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Albuquerque in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Alcântara saved Pé de Rato F.C from getting behind. If Rafa Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrinho Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, Taireta's João Albuquerque made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! If João Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When João Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Taireta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Pé de Rato F.C's goal looked a bit too open when João Albuquerque came free, but Augusto Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite being the better team, Taireta failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
