After a rather tough play, Taboca's João Carlos Aguiar got a free kick in the 5th minute. The supporters of Chuvero F.C booed when Taboca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Carlos Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Baltazar Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisinho Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Cunha having to make a save. After 23 played minutes Taboca got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho da Silveira. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Sousa got free with Emanuel Cunha in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baltazar Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisinho Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Elano Motta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caio de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elano Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Luisinho Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Cunha having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Alexandre Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taboca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Luisinho Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elano Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taboca's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
