Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomás Xavier took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Pé de Rato F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Renato Linares to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Alcântara came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Carvalho's Toninho da Costa. But to his dismay, Toninho da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Carvalho's Tadeu de Mendonça got a free kick in the 7th minute. Rogério Siqueira came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Pé de Rato F.C's Kiko Cunha. But to his dismay, Kiko Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Augusto Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Cunha in the 22nd minute of play forced Carvalho's goalkeeper Rogério Siqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Kiko Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pé de Rato F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiko Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kiko Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gugu Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogério Siqueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Rogério Siqueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gugu Salles's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Rogério Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Cunha in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Gugu Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogério Siqueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kiko Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Carvalho's Tostão Alvarenga got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th match minute, Pé de Rato F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. Kiko Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rogério Siqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tostão Alvarenga hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, Fabinho Souto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carvalho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pé de Rato F.C the free kick. Fabinho Souto was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Pé de Rato F.C booed when Carvalho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Pé de Rato F.C's Kiko Cunha fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Tostão Alvarenga hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Kiko Cunha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogério Siqueira having to make a save. Rogério Siqueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gugu Salles in the 91st minute. Toninho da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Pé de Rato F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Carvalho.
