Spectators: 7275 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Glauco dos Santos kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Guaracy got a freekick which was hit by Noel Ramalho. Glauco dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dráusio do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Luís Gustavo Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Glauco dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Falcão Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potreiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Falcão Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the game, Armando Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaracy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potreiro the free kick. Cesinha Vianna hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game Laerte Vides who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Potreiro's Dráusio do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Potreiro's goalkeeper Dráusio do Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Laerte Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio do Vale having to interfere. Potreiro's Dráusio do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laerte Vides in the 31st minute of play. Dráusio do Vale came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Guaracy's Róbson Velasco. But to his dismay, Róbson Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Velasco in the 37th minute of play forced Potreiro's goalkeeper Dráusio do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dráusio do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Velasco in the 40th minute of play. Dráusio do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laerte Vides to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Róbson Velasco got free with Dráusio do Vale in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 53 in the game by Róbson Velasco from a close distance when the talented Dráusio do Vale managed to make a qualified save. Potreiro's players were relieved. Potreiro's Dráusio do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Potreiro from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Guaracy getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Armando Montenegro hit a great ball. Dagoberto Maciel hit a great ball. Glauco dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Barreto having to interfere. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Glauco dos Santos sped through Guaracy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Barreto. After some careless play in the Guaracy defense, Glauco dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Barreto. The Guaracy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Barreto should have stopped the shot. Glauco dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Gustavo Freire hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Róbson Velasco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dráusio do Vale came out and tried to block the shot, but Róbson Velasco slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 75th minute. Laerte Vides was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Guaracy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 80 played minutes Potreiro got a freekick which was hit by André Tavares. André Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Luís Gustavo Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Róbson Velasco was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Dráusio do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Pedro Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 93 played minutes, Guaracy's Hernani Barreto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dráusio do Vale came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guaracy reached it. Glauco dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Barreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
