Breno da Costa ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Punau SS's Oswaldo Vianna got control of the ball when Percival da Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Barral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
