Dráusio do Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 83rd match minute, Potreiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Freire to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Potreiro booed when Guaracy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Róbson Velasco made a precise shot to the right of Dráusio do Vale. Potreiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. There was no doubt that Guaracy were the better team. Guaracy's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
