In the 11th match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Correia to maneuver through the defense. Glauco dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Glauco dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Glauco dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitório Lucas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Falcão Fernandez's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Schmidt in the 23rd minute of play forced Potreiro's goalkeeper Dráusio do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Potreiro's Glauco dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 25 minutes, Alan Mangueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos FC and the Potreiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, André Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potreiro's supporters rose to their feet, but André Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitório Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Potreiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 86th minute, Glauco dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 minutes, Marcos Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos FC and the Potreiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot by Wanderson Vinhas from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Dráusio do Vale's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Glauco dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitório Lucas having to interfere. Vitório Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Potreiro fully deserved thier win.
