Paraju's Falcão Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo de Medeiros in the 55th minute of play. With his leg Cássio Tinoco managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Paraju's Nildo Neves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Falcão Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Nildo Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
