Waldemar Zonta's late challenge caught a Campinhas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Waldemar Zonta was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. In the 80th minute, Tiago Gabriel Bertassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Punau SS's Oswaldo Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu de Godoi in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Zeca Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Adrianinho Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
