With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laerte Vides in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Tinoco saved Araçá F.C from getting behind. Cássio Tinoco came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Guaracy's Laerte Vides. But to his dismay, Laerte Vides quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 24 played minutes, Guaracy's Dagoberto Maciel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cássio Tinoco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guaracy reached it. Dalmo de Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
