Rubinho Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Falcão Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Correia in the 49th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred Correia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Falcão Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruy Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rubinho Rosado was slow to take the kick. During this time Paraju's players had a chance to rest. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Paraju had won after a very even match.
