In the 25th minute of the match Alfredo Ramalho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Abreu skillfully saved the ball. Andrézinho da Silva struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Téo Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. R. Alquimistas. 29 minutes into the game, Geovânio Mendonça was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mattao SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. R. Alquimistas the free kick. Geovânio Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. C. R. Alquimistas's Dorian Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mattao SS's Téo Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho da Silva in the 32nd minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Gustavo Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alfredo Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Botelho in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Tiaguinho Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Carlos Eduardo Botelho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of C. R. Alquimistas's Alfredo Abreu. Alfredo Abreu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Alfredo Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Téo Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorian Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Luiz Gustavo Leite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Dorian Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carlos Eduardo Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Téo Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho da Silva in the 84th minute of the match. Andrézinho da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo Azevedo having to interfere. If Andrézinho da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Mattao SS's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Rodrigues came free, but Téo Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
