Jeferson Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauan de Amorim having to interfere. Hélio Neto struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Kauan de Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacare. After a defensive mix-up in A.J. City's zone, Jeferson Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauan de Amorim came out of the goal and Jeferson Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hélio Neto fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jacare's protests and gave Hélio Neto a yellow card for diving instead. Hélio Netto came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Valdo Perez could save by the left post. The nice shot from Hélio Netto in the 21stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Valdo Perez had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélio Neto in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kauan de Amorim saved A.J. City from getting behind. 24 minutes into the game, Jacare's Hélio Neto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kauan de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Orlando Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jacare's Hélio Neto in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.J. City's goalie prevented a goal. When Jeferson Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Jacare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeferson Cardozo couldn't finish the play. Jeferson Cardozo struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Kauan de Amorim came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacare's Caetano Arantes. But to his dismay, Caetano Arantes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 42nd minute Hélio Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauan de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Orlando Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Durval Dionísio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Orlando Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Kauan de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeferson Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jacare the free kick. After a rather tough play, A.J. City's Matheus Mendes got a free kick in the 71st minute. The corner ended in Orlando Dias almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.J. City's Kauan de Amorim did a great save. The supporters of A.J. City booed when Jacare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacare's Hélio Neto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kauan de Amorim. That made the score 0-5 after 95 minutes of play. Jacare's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
