Caiçara Esporte Clube's Sidnei Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Pereira in the 96th minute of play. When the match clock showed 99 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Doni Bertassi sped through Caiçara Esporte Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sidnei Porto. Campo Grande Football played a much better game than Caiçara Esporte Clube and deserved their victory. The Caiçara Esporte Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
