The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Manuel Mota struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Ramón Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibaiti Hills. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Fellipe de Amorim put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ramón Reis. Ramón Reis came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibaiti Hills's Fellipe de Amorim. But to his dismay, Fellipe de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ramón Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Délio Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Hermes having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Mamoes EC's goalkeeper Ramón Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fellipe de Amorim. Ramón Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Manuel Mota was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ramón Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe de Amorim in the 26th minute of play. Fellipe de Amorim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Ramón Reis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Ibaiti Hills's Manuel Mota in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mamoes EC's goalie prevented a goal. Ibaiti Hills's Delfim Quintal got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fellipe de Amorim in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramón Reis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 42 minutes into the match, Mamoes EC's goalkeeper Ramón Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fellipe de Amorim. Fellipe de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ramón Reis made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fellipe de Amorim made a kick off. The supporters of Ibaiti Hills booed when Mamoes EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mamoes EC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ronaldinho Pitta hit a great ball. Ramón Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Mota in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fellipe de Amorim in the 69th minute of play forced Mamoes EC's goalkeeper Ramón Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Manuel Mota ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramón Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fellipe de Amorim in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramón Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute Betão Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fellipe de Amorim in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramón Reis saved Mamoes EC from getting behind. When Ibaiti Hills's Manuel Mota in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mamoes EC's goalie prevented a goal. Ramón Reis came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibaiti Hills's Dalmo Vergílio. But to his dismay, Dalmo Vergílio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Mota in the 92nd minute of play forced Mamoes EC's goalkeeper Ramón Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Ibaiti Hills players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
